MARY HUGHES, RDH, BS - is Dental Education Partners CEO, Founder, and Instructor. Her passion for dentistry, training, and helping individuals achieve their full potential is a hallmark of her career and the founding of Dental Education Partners.  Mary has always brought a passion to deliver the highest standard of periodontal care for patients. She began her career as a Registered Dental Assistant and fell in love with dentistry, continuing her education as a clinical dental hygienist after graduating from the State University of New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. Mary became an expert in staff training and effective patient communication coaching methods, which tripled daily hygiene production for the office and operatories of colleagues she also coached. As a natural educator, her career transitioned to corporate dentistry to professionally consult with dental offices, emphasizing comprehensive treatment and increasing treatment enrollment. Mary was promoted to roles including International Training Manager, Senior Director of North American Sales, and Senior Director of Professional Relations. Mary has the unique credential of being certified as a Professional Selling Skills Trainer by Achieve Global®. She is a member of the ADHA and has been published in peer reviewed dental journals. Mary joined Tralongo as Vice President of Clinical Growth and is dedicated to serving the organization to achieve excellence and maximize growth opportunities.

Course Description: One American dies every hour from oral cancer – how many are your patients? Let’s face it, most dental practices still screen for cancer with a white light exam which cannot detect cancer until it is in stage 3 or 4 squamous cell carcinoma. As dental professionals, once we know better we must do better.
